My
apologies for the lateness of this week's Life Makeover
tip! Monday evening I received a phonecall from a
journalist regarding my Tarot reading practice. She
had been asked to interview me, by her editor, for
an upcoming feature. This surprised me for two reasons
1. I have only recently begun public readings and
have had little publicity
2. The journalist was one that I had on my list of
press contacts to establish for publicity of upcoming
projects! Now here she was initiating contact with
me!
Much of Tuesday was spent being interviewed and photographed
and it really drove home -again- the power of the
subconscious mind. By clearly articulating what I
wanted (to my subconscious) it came up with the idea
of taking my reading practice public, teaching for
additional income, and now it was driving free publicity
my way. None of these were ideas that my conscious
mind had achieved when I had relied solely on it.
I hope that you are having as much success by trying
out these tips, and if you haven't had a chance to
I have reprinted "The Power Of The Subconscious"
below this week's tip!

REPRINT:
"The Power Of The Subconscious" (excerpt) |
|
When
you find yourself obsessively dealing with a situation
simply hand it over to your subconscious mind. This
is a technique that has worked since the beginning
of time and is now coming of vogue (again) in Western
Culture. Studies have shown that our subconscious
is capable of researching and analyzing a situation
and then presenting us with a solution (all without
our active involvement).
So how does this work? Well first you analyze and
deconstruct the situation as best you can. Once it
seems you have started going in circles stop. Tell
yourself in a clear voice "I am now going to
hand this (state your question) over to my subconscious
mind." Then state when you will check for an
answer e.g. "I'll be back on Tuesday at noon"
...
Anytime you find yourself consciously obsessing or
worrying again tell yourself "It's OK my subconscious
is working on this" and then do something else.
Take a mental vacation. Your subconscious is the best
automated process cruncher you can have.
I have used this technique when programming and trouble
shooting computer crashes with much success :)
Hand your problems over to your subconscious mind
and free up your time to ENJOY life :)
HOMEWORK:
This week ask yourself..
1) What will I hand over to my subconscious?
2) What will I tell my my conscious mind when it steps
in?
3) I'll check back for answers on ... (insert date)
Best Wishes, and let
me know how this works out for you!
