tuluum's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What Have I Been Up To? (Pt. 2) (subconscious: Death) Well things have definitely not slowed down since my last entry :) I am juggling so much right now, readings, classes, copywriting, music and soon dance!! It's insane but I'm really quite happy :D I would like to start back my singing classes but that will have to wait until I pay for my new computer :D Thursday, after a full day of readings I went to this book-launching at A Different View (it was cool) as well as the newly monthly Indigenous lime. Although both things were very odd for me - the perennial recluse- I can't say that I regretted it:) I met some nice people :) The music on the free compilation CDs that were being given out totally blew my mind as well and I was totally thrilled to have met some of the musicians that night :D Trinidad RULEZ!! (yes you can quote me on that, cos who knows when I'll say that again ;)) I'm making better progress on those articles that I'm supposed to write (this time on Atlantic City :)) The trick appears to be taking an 'assembly line' approach instead of an 'artisan' approach. The last time I got the Nine Of Cups as a Card Of The Day was well over a month ago. Back then I was so stressed and confused. I had no bookings, no steady income, my EP project was stalled and I had no idea where to go, how to go forward. It was odd to me that at such a point in time the Nine Of Cups would step forward, telling me that I was exactly where I needed to be to prosper. Now 6 weeks later I feel I have come full circle. Right back at the Nine, and yet everything has flipped. The 'Houston Project'I was worrying about is mine now, I have as many bookings as I need, my EP demo was finished and delivered last week, and last night I got the news that it ROCKs !! ??!! Talk about a CLOUD TEN!! :D Part of the sweetness of the Nine Of Cups is giving love back to someone who is dear to you. To that end I'm a gonna put together something for the Lynnster. So much has moved and shifted in my life and I'm hopeful that the Death card signifies that 'that chapter', that chapter that started to come to its head a year ago is finally moving behind me. I'm gonna clear out my room and do some laundry as well! Yea, the Death card can be mundane like that as well :) But the mundane can also be quite spiritual and clutter does have negative metaphysical effects. In other news...
