I'm BAAAACK!!!

What a long hiatus ay? Trust me it was not deliberate on my part. I upgraded to Mac Os X.2 aka Jaguar and it's been a long process getting things back to normal. Drive formatting, partitioning, erasing OS9, trying to reinstall OS9 and failing miserably, figuring out workarounds, looking for drivers for some stuff. Hey if anyone else has a Que! USB Drive the driver for Jaguar is here. You'll be able to read and write but not listen to audio cds (bummer!). Then I had to upgrade and reinstall Retrospect Express. Rebuilding my backup catalog took the last two days and I think that from now on I will backup the catalog file to my server for safe keeping so that I don't have to go through -that- again!!
There was sooo much that I wanted to talk about over the past few days. I wanted to talk about getting a great e*WAX cd from Kate. I wanted to talk about the dreams that I had about Simonne and Natalie. I wanted to talk about yay for new net pals such as Graeme :) I wanted to thank AdamExe for his help and Michelle for the gorgeous fountain pen but alas I don't think I have enough time right now to do so ;)
I spent the last few days by the way reading "Why Can't I Fall In Love: a 12 step program" by my favorite rabbi Shmuley Boteach. Very thought provoking. I recommend it highly! More on that book later... also I'll be filing my political views here from time to time and sharing articles I get that mainstream media doesn't disseminate. Just my effort to bring some balance and perspective and information to the very one-sided perspectives that seem to proliferate here, esp. re: the Middle East. OK chat ya in a bit monkeys... and a hearty Eid Mubarak to my Moslim friends out there, esp. Faizah! :)
